Welcome to UnNews1 (all the news you haven't heard).  In my efforts to free my Facebook page from politics, I am starting a series of posts, UnNews.  Each brief summary is followed by a link to the article it describes.  All of these links are the articles I'd typically post on FB because I don't see them receiving the publicity that I think they deserve in the 'Mainstream' media.  Enjoy!



State Department punishments over Benghazi don't actually exist.  Despite a scathing report describing multiple failures on the part of the state department, no one is actually getting punished.

US Army will be sending troops to 35 different African nations.  The troops assigned mission is to train and equip locals to fight Islamic Radicalism.  Unless they are given orders to fight.

New York newspaper publishes a map of pistol owners in Westchester and Rockland counties.  I assume this is to shame the gun/pistol owners in front of their neighbors.  In other news, that same paper, the Journal News, has published a map of homes that don't have pistols (the same map).  Who do you think is more angry?  Who do you think is in more danger?  I love it when Liberals kick their own asses.

In the season of tolerance I've read all the usual stories of neighborhoods and public buildings having to take down crosses or nativity scenes.  Funny thing, I don't see this article published anywhere.  Apparently 77% of polled Americans identify as Christians.  Fancy that.
