Iran has sentenced an American Pastor to 8 years in prison for practicing Christianity. When he was first arrested I wrote that our state department would do nothing. I was correct. See despite 77% of this country identifying with the Christian faith, the government (specifically our Secretary of State and President) was never going to step in. See Obama doesn't care about Christians. He cares enough to know a few for when he campaigns, but he's much more vested in the promotion of Islam than Christianity. To me a politician ought not to promote any religion, but if he does, you'd think it would be the primary religion of his country (a faith to which he claims to belong). But he doesn't. He promotes Islam. Who continues to murder Americans every time they get the chance, most recently in Algeria. I won't go so far as Kanye did, but I truly believe that if you didn't vote for Obama, you don't exist to him. You can either help him further his agenda, or you can't. And white middle America can't. Christians can't. So he doesn't care about them. They don't exist. So this man in Iran, who stood before 'The Hanging Judge' and was sentenced to 8 years in a notoriously brutal Iranian prison, stood by himself. He was abandoned by his country. Pray for him. Prayer is all he has left.
